Weddings beyond Cyprus

I travel from Limassol to weddings and shoots across Europe. Send me the date and the city and you will get the whole arrangement back in one message.

Where I travel

Cyprus first: Limassol, Paphos, Ayia Napa, Protaras, Larnaca and Nicosia. Beyond the island, Greece and the islands, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Montenegro. Anywhere reachable in a day works. Somewhere further is a conversation about dates rather than a no.

What a travel booking covers

  • Flights and a bag that holds a full professional kit. Liquids and aerosols rule out hand luggage on its own.
  • One or two nights near the venue, so the morning does not start with a drive.
  • Transport between the airport, the hotel and where you are getting ready.
  • Makeup and hair for you, and for anyone else in the party you tell me about in advance.
  • A touch-up window before the ceremony, agreed when we book rather than assumed on the day.

Some couples book the travel themselves and some ask me to arrange it and bill it back. Both are normal. We settle which before the deposit, since confusion about that is the usual argument on a destination job.

How the trial works if you are not in Cyprus

Three ways. You come to Limassol for a trial. Or we hold it the day before the wedding, with room to change it. Or we work from a video call, unfiltered daylight photographs of your skin, and a written plan, and I keep a longer slot on the morning. The first is the most reliable and the third has produced good mornings often enough to offer it.

The morning itself

Two to three hours for a bride, plus thirty to forty minutes for each other person. The order is the same in Tuscany as it is in Limassol, with the start moved to suit the light and the heat. The full running order is in how a wedding morning runs, and it transfers to any hot-country wedding.

I arrive the evening before wherever the schedule allows. That is when the room, the light, the sockets and the photographer's timing get checked, instead of during your appointment.

How far ahead to book

Six to twelve months for a summer date in Europe. A wedding abroad holds two to three of my days rather than one morning, and those days cannot be held twice. Winter and shoulder-season dates move faster.

What to send in the first message

  • The date, the city and the venue.
  • Ceremony time, and whether it is outdoors.
  • How many people need makeup, and who also needs hair.
  • Whether you want a trial, and where you will be beforehand.
  • Your photographer's timeline, if it exists yet.

Those five lines are enough for a real answer with a price in it. Instagram is where I reply fastest, and Telegram and WhatsApp both work.
